One of the most important scope of duties in landscape architecture is the planning of projects for public and private principals. In most cases it concerns in publicly accessible buildings from the domains of housing industry, public management, schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions as well as business and industry.
In most cases, public and half-public buildings take over certain functions within the cities and municipalities. In our understanding these tasks should be emphasised by dint of the planning of the accompanying free spaces - for example by realizing an especially representative creation. In best case, the planned areas could take over parts of the tasks of these public buildings.
Thus, for example, the yard of a school always is just a part of the whole arrangement as well as the parking area in front of a supermarket or the open-air areas of many gastronomic establishments. Therefore, free space planning often takes over a mediator's role between building and street space.
We understand the arrangement of free spaces, hence, always as a continuation and a supplement of the interior concepts of the existing architecture of the respective town.
